Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems across various agency networks.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal employees, resolving inquiries regarding computer systems, peripherals, and applications.
- Monitor system performance logs to ensure optimal uptime and security compliance.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to perform routine maintenance, updates, and system backups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT assets, incidents, and technical procedures.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic networking concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be willing to work full-time hours in-person at the Houston location.
