Position Overview:
In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. You will work closely with senior technicians to implement technical solutions and provide support to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems to ensure business continuity.
- Support the deployment of software updates and security patches across the organization.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT Service Management database.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT improvements.
- Adhere to federal cybersecurity policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Familiarity with Help Desk software or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation and Public Trust security clearance.
