Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Support: Assist federal agencies with hardware and software troubleshooting to ensure seamless daily operations.
- System Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- User Assistance: Deliver high-quality customer service and technical guidance to federal employees and visitors.
- Data Security: Assist in maintaining the integrity and security of federal information systems in compliance with strict protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, repairs, and user requests.
- Project Support: Assist in the implementation of new IT infrastructure and software upgrades.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; OR 3 years of specialized experience in IT support.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Certification: CompTIA A+ or Security+ certification preferred (training provided for eligible candidates).
