Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for federal network systems and hardware.
- Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and security of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Monitor system performance logs and report anomalies to senior IT staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modern IT solutions for government agencies.
- Document technical processes, create user manuals, and maintain inventory of IT assets.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal information security protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience for entry-level candidates).
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program or recent graduation preferred.
- Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (if applicable).
