Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues encountered by federal employees.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of government-issued equipment and workstations.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
- Conduct routine system backups and perform preventative maintenance to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security protocols and data protection measures.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on emerging technologies and federal compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network connectivity.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
