Responsibilities
- Provide essential administrative support and clerical assistance to department staff members.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain confidential records in government databases.
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in person with a high level of professionalism.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating office activities.
- Prepare, organize, and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Monitor office supply levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (College coursework is a plus).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Valid California Driver's License (for positions requiring local travel).
