Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance protocols for federal land projects in California
- Conduct ecological assessments and impact analyses for proposed infrastructure developments
- Coordinate with state/local agencies on habitat restoration initiatives
- Prepare technical reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage environmental permitting processes for federal facilities
- Lead public engagement sessions on environmental policy changes
- Maintain compliance with NEPA, ESA, and other federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in environmental regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of California environmental laws and federal regulations
- GIS mapping and environmental data analysis skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Proven project management experience with multi-agency coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
