Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee implementation of regional air quality improvement plans
- Lead stakeholder engagement with community groups and industrial partners
- Analyze environmental data to identify pollution sources and mitigation opportunities
- Prepare comprehensive regulatory compliance reports for state legislature
- Coordinate with federal EPA on cross-jurisdictional environmental initiatives
- Train junior staff on environmental monitoring technologies

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory experience at state/federal level
- Professional certification in Environmental Management (CEM/AEM preferred)
- Expertise in air quality modeling and emission inventory systems
- Advanced data analysis proficiency with statistical software (R/Python)
- Strong policy writing and public presentation skills
- Valid California driver's license
- Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA regulatory frameworks
