Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administrative functions of the Oakland Field Office, ensuring efficiency and adherence to federal standards.
- Prepare and coordinate complex correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for senior officials and stakeholders.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations, including the Federal Records Act and privacy laws.
- Manage office budgets, procurement requests, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between office staff and external agencies, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and conference support for federal staff and visitors.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and workflow.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive administrative experience in a federal, state, or local government setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and federal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
