Responsibilities
- Office Management: Direct the daily operations of the administrative office, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and monitor the office budget, track expenditures, and process travel and purchase orders efficiently.
- Personnel Administration: Assist in recruitment, staffing, performance evaluations, and employee relations for the administrative staff.
- Program Support: Coordinate with program managers to ensure administrative needs are met for high-priority federal initiatives.
- Facilities & Security: Manage facility maintenance, safety compliance, and security protocols within the federal office space.
- Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
- Reporting: Compile statistical data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and federal oversight bodies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including at least one year at a full-performance level. Federal experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of federal personnel, procurement, and financial management regulations (e.g., OMB Circulars, FAR).
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and federal case management systems.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
