Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and record maintenance
- Process veteran benefit applications and claims with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and stakeholder meetings
- Maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Provide direct customer service to veterans and their families
- Assist with onboarding and training for new administrative staff
- Generate reports and analytics for leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Knowledge of VA benefits systems preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with federal HR processes a plus
