Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran records in accordance with federal regulations and HIPAA compliance standards
- Coordinate administrative functions including scheduling, correspondence, and document management
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans, families, and internal stakeholders
- Utilize federal databases (e.g., VA VISTA, EHR) for accurate record-keeping and reporting
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes for assigned department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives
- Ensure all administrative procedures meet federal audit requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal positions)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and federal databases
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
