Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal privacy laws (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Coordinate administrative workflows across multiple departments using federal databases (e.g., VA VISTA, CMS)
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and procedural documentation for senior leadership review
- Oversee procurement processes and fiscal accountability in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Facilitate cross-agency meetings and maintain detailed minutes with action item tracking
- Implement and optimize office administrative systems for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal or state government administrative roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and federal databases (e.g., SAM.gov, VA systems)
- Knowledge of federal HR policies and procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS)
- Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in compliance documentation
- Experience with records management under NARA guidelines
