Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records and documentation systems
- Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and logistical support for multi-departmental projects
- Process administrative requests, forms, and compliance documentation per federal guidelines
- Act as primary liaison between VA departments and external stakeholders
- Implement and optimize administrative workflows using federal systems (e.g., VA VISTA, SharePoint)
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and executive summaries for leadership review
- Ensure adherence to all federal regulations, privacy laws (HIPAA/PII), and security protocols
Qualifications
- US citizenship required with ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of federal documentation standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced federal environment
- Experience with federal records management systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
