Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public facilities, parks, and streets
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Assist with storm drain cleaning and debris removal
- Support emergency response operations during weather events
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Document work activities and submit daily progress reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Experience with landscaping or construction tools preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hazardous material handling
- Pass background check and drug screening
