Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate administrative workflows across multiple departmental teams
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefing documents
- Process personnel actions, travel authorizations, and procurement requests
- Provide frontline support to veteran stakeholders via phone and in-person channels
- Implement and optimize office procedures to enhance operational efficiency
- Support compliance audits and documentation reviews
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (per federal employment guidelines)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of federal records management standards (FEMA, NARA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience with federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field preferred
