Responsibilities
- Office Operations: Manage daily administrative functions, including mail distribution, filing systems, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless office operations.
- Correspondence: Draft, review, and edit complex correspondence, memoranda, and reports for senior leadership with a focus on accuracy and tone.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate high-level meetings, conferences, and teleconferences, taking detailed minutes and preparing briefing packets.
- Records Management: Oversee the classification, retention, and storage of federal records in compliance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) standards.
- Travel Support: Process travel arrangements and expense reports for staff, ensuring compliance with federal travel regulations.
- HR Support: Assist with onboarding new federal employees and maintaining personnel files.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a federal, state, or large-scale corporate environment.
- Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations, procurement policies, and office management best practices.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with government software (e.g., ELM, GSA Advantage) is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
