Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and inter-office correspondence.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of correspondence, reports, memorandums, and briefing materials.
- Schedule and coordinate complex meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for leadership.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and manage records management in accordance with federal standards.
- Process timecards, travel vouchers, and purchase orders using the VA Financial Management System.
- Assist with the preparation of Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) orders and inventory control.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and veterans in person and via telephone.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft professional documents.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal compliance and security regulations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
