We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with the daily operations of our federal client, ensuring strict compliance with regulations and maintaining the highest standards of office efficiency.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations, ensuring that federal communications are handled with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Correspondence Management: Manage incoming and outgoing federal correspondence, ensuring proper routing, documentation, and adherence to security protocols.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate complex meetings for federal officers and high-level stakeholders, managing calendars and preparing briefing materials.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems in strict accordance with federal record-keeping standards (NARA guidelines).
- Report Preparation: Prepare, edit, and format reports, memos, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Travel & Expense: Assist in the preparation and review of travel vouchers and expense reports for federal personnel.
- Regulatory Research: Perform basic research on federal regulations and policies to support team initiatives and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required for all federal roles.
- Experience: Previous experience in a federal, state, or municipal government office preferred.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific case management software.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
