Responsibilities
- Oversee the intake, distribution, and filing of incoming mail and electronic communications.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, memoranda, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Coordinate complex travel arrangements and schedule executive meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the agency's central database and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with FAR and OPM guidelines.
- Process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and respond to inquiries within established timeframes.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement packages and vendor contracts.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a federal, state, or local government setting.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with government accounting or procurement systems is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and GSAXcess.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for security clearance.
