Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses on behalf of federal leadership.
- Coordinate complex calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange domestic and international travel logistics with precision.
- Prepare, review, and edit official federal documents, memos, and reports while strictly adhering to government formatting and compliance standards.
- Maintain and organize confidential personnel files and records, ensuring data integrity and adherence to federal privacy regulations.
- Process personnel actions, time and attendance reports, and payroll documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications, budget justifications, and statistical reports for federal programs.
- Monitor office supplies and equipment, placing orders and coordinating maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional administrative experience within a federal, military, or corporate setting.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with federal case management or HRIS software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable background investigation clearance.
