Responsibilities
- Manage Correspondence: Receive, screen, and route incoming mail and electronic correspondence to appropriate staff members.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Office Support: Answer general inquiries from the public and internal staff with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Scheduling: Assist in scheduling appointments and organizing meeting spaces for department heads.
- Data Entry: Perform routine data entry tasks to update databases and track office metrics.
- Report Preparation: Compile basic reports and prepare meeting agendas for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this Federal position.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Integrity: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal regulations.
