- Maintain confidential records using VA's secure database systems
- Support compliance audits through documentation preparation
- Assist veterans with benefits navigation via phone and in-person channels
- Collaborate with legal teams on policy implementation updates
- Generate monthly performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years federal/government administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) or equivalent federal databases
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Expert knowledge of veteran benefits regulations (38 CFR)
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills with data analysis capabilities
- Exceptional written communication for official correspondence
- Ability to work flexible hours during benefit peak seasons
