Responsibilities
- Process and manage veteran benefit applications with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping for department operations
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and quality assurance reviews
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and their families via phone and in-person
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
- Support special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- 1+ years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with federal systems (e.g., VA benefits platforms) a plus
