Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with HIPAA and federal privacy regulations
- Coordinate administrative workflows across clinical and non-clinical departments
- Process travel authorizations, procurement requests, and expense reimbursements
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefings using advanced Microsoft Office applications
- Serve as primary liaison between staff and external stakeholders including government agencies
- Implement and monitor administrative policies ensuring adherence to federal guidelines
- Support special projects including event planning, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years progressive administrative experience in a federal or regulated environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass federal background investigation
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal procurement, travel, and records management protocols
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Experience with federal HR systems (e.g., HRIS, DEERS) preferred
- Associate's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CDA, CAP) required
