Responsibilities
- Manage weekend administrative workflows including document processing and case file maintenance
- Provide direct public assistance at the Minneapolis service center on Saturdays and Sundays
- Coordinate inter-agency communications during off-peak operational hours
- Maintain strict compliance with federal record-keeping and security protocols
- Support weekend emergency response procedures and incident documentation
- Process immigration applications and conduct preliminary screenings
- Collaborate with weekday staff to ensure continuity of operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position mandate)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in federal document management systems (e.g., e-QIP, USCIS databases)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) clearance
- Exceptional communication skills for public-facing interactions
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Knowledge of immigration regulations and federal privacy laws (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license for occasional off-site duties
