Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and documentation in compliance with federal regulations
- Process payroll and personnel actions with weekly pay cycles
- Coordinate with VA medical centers and community partners for veteran outreach
- Maintain secure federal databases and ensure HIPAA/GSA compliance
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership and veteran advocacy programs
- Conduct quality assurance reviews for benefit eligibility determinations
- Train staff on federal compliance protocols and VA systems
Qualifications
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- 3+ years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in federal HR systems (e.g., NSPS, VA VISTA)
- Knowledge of veterans' benefits programs (e.g., VA, GI Bill)
- TS/SCI security clearance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Experience with weekly payroll processing systems
- Strong written communication for federal reporting requirements
