Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to Veterans during weekend operations.
- Process and review Federal benefit applications and claims with high accuracy.
- Interview claimants and gather necessary documentation for eligibility determination.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, privacy laws, and VA policies.
- Maintain accurate records and update case files in the departmental system.
- Collaborate with interagency partners to resolve complex eligibility issues.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Ability to work a rotating weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software.
