Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end administration of federal employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and retirements.
- Process weekly payroll data and ensure strict compliance with federal labor laws and FLSA regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding pay inquiries, tax forms (W-2), and insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in federal HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, EOP).
- Prepare detailed reports for federal compliance audits and internal management reviews.
- Collaborate with federal agency managers to resolve complex personnel and payroll issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Benefits Administration or Payroll Processing within the federal or government sector.
- Proficiency in federal HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of ACA, COBRA, and other federal compliance mandates.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for employee counseling.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive government data.
