Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 98% accuracy
- Analyze medical records and service documentation to establish benefit eligibility
- Communicate claim decisions to veterans via written correspondence and phone calls
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal advisors on complex cases
- Maintain confidential case files in accordance with federal regulations
- Process 15-20 claims weekly within strict VA deadlines
- Participate in quarterly quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- 3+ years experience in claims processing or benefits administration
- Proficient in VA systems (VBMS, VBAS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience working with veterans' preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Valid Nevada driver's license
