Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance regulations across VA facilities in Northeast Ohio
- Conduct comprehensive audits of healthcare programs and administrative processes
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal counsel and department heads on policy development
- Train staff on federal regulations and compliance protocols
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and oversight agencies
- Stay updated on evolving federal healthcare regulations and VA directives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Active Federal government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, VA policies, and OMB circulars
- Experience with audit methodologies and compliance software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
