Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Provide personalized guidance on VA healthcare, education, and disability benefits
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners for resource referrals
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran populations in Central Valley
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and federal compliance standards
- Participate in quarterly training on VA policy updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in public administration/social services
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience with vulnerable populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Strong conflict resolution and active listening skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of VA benefits structure strongly preferred
