Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OSHA) across healthcare operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory interpretation and policy updates
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for federal oversight
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of compliance or regulatory experience in federal/government setting
- Strong knowledge of VA regulations and healthcare compliance standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., LogicGate, Navex)
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
