Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OMB) across healthcare operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and risk assessments
- Develop/implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory interpretation and enforcement
- Train staff on compliance policies and best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance/regulatory experience in federal or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and OMB guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
