Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OSHA) across medical facility operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and prepare detailed corrective action reports
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and training materials
- Collaborate with department heads to resolve compliance gaps and implement best practices
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare regulations through continuous research
- Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives and coordinate with external auditors
- Track compliance metrics and prepare executive-level performance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance or healthcare regulatory experience
- Proficient in VA regulations, HIPAA compliance, and CMS guidelines
- Strong analytical skills with experience in audit methodologies and risk assessment
- Exceptional written communication for policy development and reporting
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) preferred
- Active security clearance eligibility required
- U.S. citizenship mandatory
