Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of federal contract documentation to ensure strict adherence to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS standards.
- Prepare and submit high-level compliance reports to government oversight agencies and internal leadership.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify potential compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities and regulatory changes affecting federal projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to resolve compliance issues efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior staff on proper documentation and regulatory procedures.
- Monitor updates to federal procurement laws and adjust internal processes accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal compliance or government contracting.
- Strong working knowledge of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex regulations clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
