Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to VA healthcare regulations and federal compliance standards
- Conduct compliance audits and process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to resolve regulatory discrepancies
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for VA leadership
- Train staff on updated federal healthcare policies
- Manage veteran benefit verification systems
- Collaborate with OIG on compliance investigations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- 3+ years in healthcare compliance or federal regulatory work
- Proficiency with VA systems (VistA, Cerner) and HIPAA regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to start work within 48 hours of offer
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
- Valid Ohio driver's license (if required for facility access)
