Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA, VA policies, and OSHA standards
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across healthcare facilities
- Develop compliance training programs for staff across 15+ departments
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence in healthcare operations
- Document compliance activities and prepare detailed reports for federal oversight bodies
- Lead cross-functional committees to address compliance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Stay current on federal regulatory changes and update organizational policies accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal or healthcare compliance
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, VA regulations, and healthcare compliance frameworks
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP-HCP, CHC) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent written communication skills for policy development and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a federal environment
- Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
