Responsibilities
- Ensure federal regulatory compliance across VA facilities in Oregon and Washington
- Conduct internal audits and investigations per federal guidelines
- Develop/implement compliance training programs for 200+ staff
- Collaborate with DOJ and OIG on high-profile cases
- Manage documentation and reporting for HIPAA/ADA/FMLA compliance
- Lead cross-departmental compliance committees
- Advise leadership on policy updates and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance/government auditing experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Expert knowledge of CFR, FISMA, and VA regulations
- Advanced certification (CCEP, CFCM, or similar) preferred
- Proficiency in FedRAMP and NIST frameworks
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
