Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts, including initiation, execution, and closeout.
- Analyze contract requirements and ensure strict compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific guidelines.
- Prepare and review contracts, amendments, and subcontracts to mitigate risk and protect company interests.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to resolve contractual disputes and issues.
- Track contract performance metrics and submit status reports to government stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of competitive proposals and bid strategies for new federal contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting, contract administration, or government procurement.
- Strong working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with government officials and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP Ariba, ContractWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
