Role Overview
You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of federal IT environments, supporting end-users, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Your expertise will be critical in supporting our mission-critical projects in the Wichita area.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to federal government employees, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux, etc.).
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to meet federal compliance standards.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Experience working with federal clients or government contractors is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret).
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is a plus.
