Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cybersecurity threats across federal networks using advanced SIEM tools
- Develop incident response protocols and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST compliance frameworks
- Create detailed security reports and brief senior leadership on threat intelligence
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and new threat vectors
- Manage security access controls and authentication systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification
