Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats across federal networks using SIEM tools
- Develop and implement security protocols for critical infrastructure protection
- Coordinate incident response for cybersecurity breaches and vulnerabilities
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits for federal systems
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on joint security initiatives
- Prepare detailed threat intelligence reports for leadership
- Train federal employees on security best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal mandate)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CISSP or Security+ certification (or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Experience with NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
