Responsibilities
- Design and Implement: Design, develop, and maintain scalable IT solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of federal clients.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure high availability of critical systems.
- Security Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal security standards, NIST regulations, and FISMA requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to internal teams and end-users.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field required.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is mandatory for this role.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or government IT environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of network security protocols, vulnerability assessments, and risk management.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior leadership and clients.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with high self-discipline.
