Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal networks to identify security weaknesses.
- Manage and maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP security frameworks.
- Monitor security systems 24/7 to detect and respond to cyber threats and incidents in real-time.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure against ransomware and phishing attacks.
- Prepare and present security posture reports to senior leadership and government clients.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing reporting.
