Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans of federal networks.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Enforce compliance with federal regulations such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Manage user access controls and privilege reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security patches and updates.
- Prepare and present security briefings to senior stakeholders and government clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph (required).
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal cybersecurity or information assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools and incident response procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
