Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and related hardware/software infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues for federal staff and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal information security standards (FISMA) and cybersecurity protocols.
- Oversee the deployment of new hardware, software, and network upgrades.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding federal systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives within the agency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Active Public Trust security clearance required (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment, VMware, and Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with Federal IT policies, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership and technical teams.
