Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for classified systems
- Lead incident response to cyber threats including malware and ransomware attacks
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security infrastructure
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and threat awareness
- Maintain documentation of security procedures and incident reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in federal cybersecurity or DoD environment
- Active CISSP or CEH certification required
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Expertise in SIEM tools, network security, and cloud security architectures
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in high-pressure scenarios
