Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor NIST cybersecurity frameworks for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols and lead security breach investigations
- Collaborate with federal agencies to ensure compliance with FISMA requirements
- Manage security operations center (SOC) tools including SIEM platforms
- Train federal employees on security best practices and protocols
- Coordinate with US-CERT for threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security operations
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Experience with FedRAMP and CUI compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills and incident response documentation abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 security operations
