Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats across federal networks
- Implement and maintain security protocols for classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate with federal partners
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DHS security frameworks
- Mentor junior security analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and CMMC frameworks
- Ability to work rotating shifts and on-call duties
